These are just what they say, Chinese food take-out containers re-folded in a configuration that would work for the image I was going to paint inside. I kind of stumbled upon this while I was recycling some take-out from the night before and unfolded the box. I had just come in from my studio after trying to make a folded dodecahedron out of cardboard. Although not exactly what I was going for, this just seemed an easier, environmentally friendly 'readymade', that offered much more possibilities than what I was laboring on in my studio.
